leave – amount of holiday
abound – to exist in large numbers
work ethic – attitude to work
slip into the habit of – start to do something unintentionally
presenteeism – being at work longer than necessary
statutory – written into law rather than just stated verbally
cite – quote, state
holiday allowance – the amount of days that you’re allowed to take off
get round to it – do something eventually
